In a direct match to determine the top four of the English Premier League, the home side Tottenham defeated the Foxes of Leicester by 3 goals to nil. The game was already determined after the first half with a dominant effort from English captain Harry Kane who now has four goals in the last two matches.
It was a nightmare start for Leicester after winger James Justin diverted the ball into his own net past Kasper Schmeichel. Leicester did manage to at least try and pull back but both efforts from Jamie Vardy and Ayoze Perez were saved by Hugo Lloris, who was outstanding between the posts.
Then it was the Lucas Moura and Harry Kane show. Lucas as the provider and Kane as the finisher. Moura managed to set up Kane for two quick goals in a span of three minutes. The prolific striker seized both opportunities and set the final score, 3-0 in favor of the Spurs just before the halftime mark. Nothing of major significance happened in the second part of the game.
