The second day of the 2020 Champions League last-16 matchups brings two more interesting fixtures. Both second legs are being played at the home team’s home stadium and the winner will get to travel to Portugal for the final tournament.
Barcelona welcomes Napoli at Kamp Nou after a 1-1 draw in Italy.
Both teams have seasons that they would rather forget behind them. Barcelona has virtually handed over the La Liga crown to bitter rivals Real Madrid, while Napoli struggled the whole season and eventually finished seventh in the league.
Bacra is struggling with efficiency this season, and a couple of seasons back. They are creating fewer and fewer shots on target. Even with the firepower consisting of Messi, Suarez, and Griezmann they are struggling in creating chances. Napoli, on the other hand, is making shots but is not converting them. Not a lot is expected from this game, but Barcelona is given a slight edge to make it through.
The second fixture sees Chelsea going o Munich to face Bayern and a 3 goal deficit from the first leg.
Bayern has probably been the best side in Europe after the season restart. The Bavarian side has won all of their games since then and was able to grab another Bundesliga title. Their attack is sensationally led by Robert Lewandowski (34 goals) and Thomas Muller (21 assists).
Frank Lampard’s side is coming off a FA Cup loss against Arsenal. They did manage to scrape out a win against Wolves in their last EPL game, but do seem a little bit tired. More so their defense has been the worse in recent times with goalkeeper Kepa often being blamed.
If they are to make it though they have to attack from the very start, which could be detrimental against a side like Bayern Munich.
